Row your Boat

It is my third autumn seated at my antique children’s desk circa 1900 witnessing this view. I am breathing a sigh of relief as the spring/summer foliage quietly floats onto the turf and tar of life. It is the clarity of light coming in these seasons that my sight appreciates when taking in the unobstructed depth of the vista.

“row’ is built on the same platform idea as the series ‘Broadcast Hill” whose drawing are still showing on this site. At present 689 new 14” x 5 1/4” mixed media drawings on Stonehenge paper have been created (exception, travel periods) from this location. 125 drawings are in the process of being curated for the next exhibition representing this series to date. The viewer will travel through 2 years of seasonal changes starting from Nov. 2024 to now, Oct 2026. Certain portions of the drawings have been templated or physically scored to keep an anchor on reality in focus.

I will note that it is ‘Comedy’ who ‘occasionally’ embeds her ingredients into the drawings. She surfaces when running through thought and can be found compulsively training inside the mind track. I look forward to getting up this series, but meanwhile I will continue drawing, watching
